Terms

Straightforward terms for a shared care tool.

These Terms of Use govern access to SugarPlumb’s apps, website, and related services.

SugarPlumb helps families organize and understand everyday care. It is not a medical service, emergency monitor, payroll processor, or substitute for professional advice.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using SugarPlumb, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use SugarPlumb for a family or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

Your account and family space

  • Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
  • Invite only people you trust and remove access when it is no longer appropriate.
  • Use role and sharing controls responsibly. People in a shared family space may see information added by others.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Appropriate use

You may not misuse SugarPlumb, including by:

  • Breaking laws, infringing rights, or sharing information you lack authority to share.
  • Trying to access another person’s account, family space, or nonpublic systems.
  • Interfering with service operation, security, or availability.
  • Reverse engineering the service except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Using the service to harass, exploit, or endanger another person.

Family content

You keep ownership of information and content you submit. You grant SugarPlumb the limited rights needed to host, process, synchronize, display, protect, and otherwise operate the service for you and the people you authorize. You are responsible for your content and for having any permissions needed to provide it.

Educational and health-related information

SugarPlumb may organize family-entered care observations and provide general educational information. Outputs, including Child Signals, are possibilities—not facts, diagnoses, medical advice, treatment, or emergency alerts. Contact a qualified pediatrician or other professional for health or developmental concerns. Call local emergency services when immediate help is needed.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid, auto-renewing subscription. Price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through the provider that processed the purchase. You can manage or cancel through your App Store, Google Play, or web billing account, as applicable. Refunds are handled under the applicable provider’s rules and law.

Service changes and availability

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of SugarPlumb. We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may differ by platform, region, subscription, or app version.

Termination

You may stop using SugarPlumb at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address serious misuse, or comply with law. Terms that by their nature should survive will remain effective.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SugarPlumb is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the revised date here. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as appropriate. Questions can be sent through SugarPlumb Support.
